But they all charge a heavy premium on top of inference costs. We believe if the industry truly wants to scale simulation testing of voice agents, we need to stop charging a premium on inference and start providing infrastructure to scale simulations. The project is built in a way that allows you to bring your own STT, LLM, and TTS provider keys while also providing a way for us to provide inference directly within the platform at a 0% markup so you don’t have to wrestle with multiple keys/ rate limits. A bit on why’re we’re building this - We started working on voice agents in early 2024 and since then, have worked on numerous voice ai systems - like screenless voice-powered hardware for kids[1], AI receptionist deployed in healthcare practices like med spas & therapy clinics and personal accountability coaches. Some of these were full-fledged startups others were just side projects. But we kept on encountering similar issues all throughout. One of the most frustrating parts was calling the agent again and again, reciting the same script to test its behavior. We also kept on encountering new issues all the time in production that we couldn't have simulated pre launch. This frustration led us to a bigger question: how can developers trust the voice agents they’re shipping? We believe building that trust takes two things -

However, Grok Bot is closed source and quite expensive (I ran out of tokens on Ultra tier), so I've decided to roll out my own: https://github.com/regnull/openbot . Same idea, you have collaborating bots that can be configured in any way you like. It supports all major LLM providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter and local Ollama models. You can also configure model per bot - so you can have an engineer bot to work on most of the issues, and a senior engineer bot (using better, more expensive model) to tackle the most difficult ones. It's fully operational and at this point it pretty much improves itself - most of the PRs are authored by the bots themselves. I'm working on adding support for MCP servers, including OAuth, which would make it even more useful. Contributions are welcome!

One vendor decides which models you can use, where your document data goes, and what the agent is actually allowed to do. And when it fails, you can't see the code or send a PR to add a feature you may need. Many people don't have that choice: they're forced to use these tools (MS Office) at work. For coding agents we already have open interfaces like OpenCode where you can bring your own key, swap providers and models, run local, inspect everything, etc. I thought "agentic Office" needs the same. So I built OpenDocBot: an agent that runs inside Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Bring your own provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Ollama, or your own endpoint / custom gateway). It's client-side, so document data goes straight to the provider you configure, and the source is public so you can always audit the code and self-host it. I added a few things I thought would be useful: human-in-the-loop approval before any action is applied; file uploads (e.g. building a slide deck from a PDF) with local OCR for scanned documents, and tunable model behavior. Caveat: it's early, and Microsoft Marketplace distribution isn't live yet, so today you have to sideload it. I know that's real friction, I'm fighting daily with the MS Support team to achieve MS Partner Center account validation. I wrote some scripts that automate the sideloading process, and recorded short videos to make it easier. If you use Office heavily, I'd love your feedback. The intent is to catalog the world's opinions, organizing people's public thoughts so they're easy to sift through. This data can be extremely valuable, whether it's political polling, information about people's preferences, trends over time, and so on. Many people could benefit from this, and it's meant as a public service, to lift the veil on what people think about any topic, at any time. Easier political polling is just one obvious application of this. The solution was to compile all the server, SQLite included, to WASM and run it entirely in browser, so every user has his own instance now and can mess freely. That's just a 8/9 gzipped MBs download. I'm very proud of the achievement; that demonstrates a lot of how lightweight pappice is.

So I built Parlel, an agent native professional network where humans and agents can coexist and everything humans do is exposed to agents via mcp. The idea is simple, instead of searching manually, spin up an agent “find me YC companies hiring for founding engineers” and it searches Parlel + open internet and emails you the results periodically. Founder can search for prospects, candidates for hiring and reach out to them directly without restrictions. The network is super early but would love the feedbacks from you all.

Finding license free music without paying a subscription is a PITA. Free tools make you search by name, tags, etc. and surface music that never fits what I'm looking for. I built mockfreeli.org to find license-free music that sounds like the song you want. It's free, all you do is find a youtube video to the song you want, paste the link in mockfreeli, and it'll find five of the closest-related, license-free cousins from the corpus. The corpus it searches is 38k songs from youtube audio library, no copyright sounds, and the internet archive, heavily refined to exclude rips, covers, or anything that requires licensing. The primary relational algorithm is MuQ-MuLan with metadata, BPM, and key as secondary search criteria. It runs on a mac mini with an rpi 5 as fallback. Consequently, searches take about 10s on the mini to about 30s on the rpi. If people find value in it, maybe i'll consider throwing a couple dollars towards cloud hosting to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
