Really glad this community exist. This is my first Show HN, so I hope you find this tool useful/interesting. During my summer holidays I started playing with latest AI models on personal projects. At one point I started working in parallel with the same project and tried different approaches. The one that worked best for me was to clone the repo and distribute work among different AI workers, work in parallel but with different branches & folders. This allowed me to review and merge work afterwards. The thing is, spawning several agents in parallel was challenging. I could work on multiple features and bugfix at once, but it was hard to keep track what I was working on. I was jumping from one thing to another, and back; from one window to another. Switching tasks like this was mentally exhausting. Holidays were over, and after returning to my day to day work, I continued working using a similar approach not on one, but also on multiple projects, but I still could not find how to work in a more organized way without the mental toll. This space is growing really fast, and I haven't been able to find the right tool for myself, so I decided to build my own. I wanted a tool that would help me manage multiple projects at once, work with multiple agents, even from different providers, where I could chose between my personal and work subscriptions depending on the project, where I could easily review changes without leaving the tool if I wanted, or go all in and delegate fully to agents; one where I had quick shortcuts to move around, where I could schedule work or enqueue work for later so agents could work on one task after another. agenttik is my way of tackling this problem to work on multiple projects in parallel, while allowing myself to be on the driver seat. I can give as much autonomy as I want to the agents while keeping things organized in my head. I've been hesitating for hours on whether to submit or not, but hey "if you are not ashamed of your project, you are shipping too late" Honestly, this project has exactly one week of development, started from scratch, and even though it is still early on, it has been extremely useful for me. I've built in a week things that would have taken me months, not only built the tool itself but other projects as well (most of the merit is still on the models used, but would have had no way of distributing all the work, though). Feel free to try. Here's how I would get started: - Open a project you already have - Add some general prompt (in the project area) or add to your AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md (to instruct it to do regular commits and/or work with branches, and also instructions on how to build effective tests so that it can self-correct). - Chose your subscriptin of choice: Claude Code / Open AI subscription / ... - Pick big models (Opus High to Max / Fable Medium to Max / Astra Medium to Max) for bigger autonomy and try not to do hand-holding Finally, start sending/enqueuing tasks on all the features you want your product to have, bugfixes, ... use a new prompt per task (Ctrl+T / Cmd+T), I recommend using big models to avoid investing your own time reviewing, and then once LLM is done, review and archive that task or continue iterating. Keep adding tasks as you think on them. Add more projects as you start feeling comfortable. It has been really addictive for me to see the speed of development when working like this. I got totally hooked. Speed of iteration is insane. Happy to discuss any feedback you have even if it is about other tools or ways of working with AI these days! I hope you like it!!

It seemed to be interesting with 150+ github stars. I've done a bunch of updates and packaged them into a signed macOS app. One of the biggest changes was moving away from 'one context file per day' to three markdown files for apps, website, and messages. I then run Andrej Karpathy's LLM Wiki process to turn into a simple knowledge base for the day. This is then used by a smarter model to synthesise into a daily overview. Each Rig is loaded with your git repo(s), development environment, and choice of coding agent(s). You and your teammates can steer the same agents from anywhere: the web (desktop or mobile), Slack or Linear, SSH, CLI, API, or apps like Codex and Cursor. Setting up isolated environments was tedious, work stopped when we closed our laptops, and triggering tasks from tools like Sentry or Linear was awkward. Sharing changes meant copy-pasting screenshots or asking each other to check out a branch and restart their dev servers. So, we tried to fix that! Amika has the basics you'd expect from a cloud agent: expose preview URLs, share agent chat sessions, and chat with agents from Slack or Linear. It also does some things differently: - run 1 or more agents simultaneously per rig, using any harness - direct control over the agents and the VMs - control things programatically, or with human-in-the-loop UI - connect from the Codex app, Cursor, or cmux - let rigs and their agents communicate with each other and create new rigs and agents - run rigs on Amika's cloud or your own cloud or computers Each rig can be short-lived or persistent, depending on whether you want it to disappear when your PR is done, or whether you want to keep it around more permanently. Importantly, this is NOT an agent harness, nor a sandbox provider. We want Amika to run any agent harness on any computer, whether that's a desktop in your closet, an AWS Kubernetes cluster, or a sandbox cloud. Underneath the app, Amika schedules VMs on those hosts (via our sandbox router) and networks the VMs and their agents together. Our core is open source at https://github.com/gofixpoint/amika Our goal is to make the OSS really easy to self-host for individuals, while having a cloud platform for teams. The self-hosted story is not feature-compatible right now, but we're working to improve that. discussion=https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49730393, title=Show HN: An ObjC-like compiler for Mac ARM, x86_64(Linux, Win), WASM, & others, Hi folks, So this is my announcement of a compiler[1] I've been working on for about 6 months now (so yes, to get the obvious out of the way early, this was written with Claude code). The compiler is called 'xc', stands for 'cross-C' or 'extended-C' or whatever you want, really. It's fairly similar to Objective-C in style (without the [] brackets), and in fact the first version of the language was written in ObjC. It works on Mac M-series, Windows, and Linux - and any of these hosts can create binaries for any of {Mac M-series, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, WASM, Arm9 (Zynq), m68k and even 6502}. Building the compiler needs host-tools to bootstrap everything, either GNUStep on Linux, or a Mac with Xcode. Once built, however, the system is entirely self-contained, and you don't need any platform tools. I have a binary running on my iPhone which was compiled and signed on a Linux box... The suite ships with 5 host-specific assemblers, 10 object/executable writers, and a native Apple code-signer (we don't shell out to 'codesign') Downloads are available at [3] for all three hosts (xcc-osx-0.6.tar.bz2, xcc-linux-0.6.tar.bz2, xcc-win64-0.6.zip). Linux and Windows are larger because of static linking to make sure things are easy to run. The documentation for the language is all at [2], it goes into the language details, but you get ARC (Automatic reference counting, which automatically goes atomic when you have threads), blocks, callbacks, Classes, and Protocols. It's an optimising compiler with a shared IR, deliberately not LLVM's IR because one of the original targets was the 6502, and LLVM likes register-rich architectures. The compiler runs Vectorize, LICM, LoopRotate, LoopUnroll (fixed and variable trip), StrengthReduce, Inline, TailRecursion, NarrowIV, PointerIV, RedundantLoadCSE, IdiomMemset, LoopReductionCollapse,... One major inter-operability feature is the ability to say #import (or #use, which also promotes its statics into the bare-call space) and have the compiler read libGEM.so, parse its DWARF, and expose the functions, types and enum constants inside. Xc uses the platform's native structure packing, so binding a C library is mostly just pointing -L at it. The Licence for the compiler is GPL3, for the standard library there's the "standard" library exception, since that code is bundled into most apps. Bottom line, you are free to create any applications you like, open or closed, without any licensing issues. If you make a fix to the compiler, I would appreciate the bug report/patch. A utility in the tools/ section is c2xc. This takes almost all C code (I used it on Kundert's Sparse 1.4 — sparse.sourceforge.net) and converts it to valid XC. It might not be the best XC possible, but it will compile, and if you're trying to produce WASM code and can't just #use a dynamic library, this is the important part :) There's also the beginnings of a cross-platform UI toolkit and Interface-Builder, though these are very early days. There are 568 fixtures, 608 unit-tests, two simulators (6502 and 68k) and ~50 differential scripts to check output vs clang / binutils. The compiler is written in its own language, forming a "reference" ObjC compiler and the "shipped" written-in-xc compiler (all 120k lines of it), meaning it has two chances to find obscure bugs. Other real-world tests have been: - transpiling Kundert's Sparse 1.4 to xc and diffing its test program's output against a clang build of the same library - a circuit simulator built on it, checked against ngspice-47 and against an independent numpy MNA implementation - writing a "test in anger" application, a server that listens for incoming web requests, parses them, uses them to query a DB and then sends the results out to a web-client (written in XC, and compiled to WASM) Enjoy :) 1: https://github.com/ThrudTheBarbarian/xc 2: https://compile-xc.org/ 3: https://compile-xc.org/compiler/downloads

What if analyst ratings could be relied on to help you find the next Sandisk, before it takes off? On Analyst Index, analysts publish price targets with a maturity date. Every call gets scored against what the stock actually did, so an analyst builds a record on accuracy instead of on follower count. I started this because after riding the Tesla wave in 2019/2020, I messed up epically with some high risk bets that didn’t work out, including one pick from an analyst I didn’t know was not much good. I needed something like this to help me figure out a) which analysts are worth listening to, and b) which stocks to buy based on their ratings. On what already exists: TipRanks has scored analysts since 2009 and Benzinga sells accuracy scores through an API, so this isn’t entirely new. The difference here is that analyst incentives are aligned with that of investors through a subscription. TipRanks and others scrape published sell side calls and sell access to investors without analysts seeing a dollar of investor revenue. So without aligned incentives, the quality of their work is going to be lower. (Yes, I scraped sell side calls to bootstrap Analyst Index with some data - better than launching with a ghost town). On methodology: Right now scoring is naive. I compare the call against the stock's movement over the stated horizon and score the difference. I thought it better to ship simpler something sooner rather than later. If scoring design is your area, I'd like to talk. What's live: 44 price targets from 25 analysts across 3 tickers, browsable without an account. What isn't: no analyst signup yet, no payments, and no paywall enforcement — anyone can currently subscribe to anyone and see everything. Business model (planned): analysts set their own subscription price, readers subscribe directly, I take 10%. Open problems I don't have answers to: - Cold start on supply. The analysts I want are good and undiscovered, which means they have no audience by definition, so the score has to do the work an audience normally does. If I can't drive demand-side traffic, no amount of scoring sophistication saves this. - Whether price targets carry information at all. Plenty of people think they're noise. My guess is that aligning incentives will produce a signal, but I can't prove that just yet. Regulatory: I operate as a publisher, not an adviser. Content is impersonal and general circulation, with no personalized recommendations and no performance promises. Nothing on the site is investment advice. So I started out building a benchmark to test that premise and on the scope I tested, the agents did not drift and I had to stop that research line. So to reuse what I have learnt from that research, I started out trying to catch engineer's regressions through review and CI and create those conventions codebases already follows with the evidence instead of leaving them in someone's head.Before I started building this tool, I also mostly write the rules by hand and linter's documentations for every linter I wanted to use. But after my research, the tool automates the process and I'm excited to see how it can help other engineers too. I ran the full package workflow (scan, recommend) across 92,861 real public TypeScript repositories on github and it completed on every one without a single crash and the reversible install/uninstall round-trip held.
